How do our products improve your business ? |

|
All our products are related to QuickBooks accounting software. This is always the center of operation. Without it, our products are not of relevance to you. With it, we can dramatically increase the efficiency and productivity of your business.
Q - Import
Let us assume that you sell goods via the Internet. So, there is a website, a shopping cart and customers buying your products. That is the easy part. But, when it comes to accounting, it gets not that pleasant. Let us assume also that you use QuickBooks as your accounting software. You have to record each sale in your accounting system, QuickBooks. As you know, you are being able to import customers etc, into QuickBooks. But QuickBooks fails with the import of transactions.
So, you are going to manually key-in all transactions, mostly including the customer data, into QuickBooks. If your website is successful, you sell more than 10 items a day, which sums up to approximately 3000 items a month. When you need only one minute to enter a transaction into QuickBooks, you are quite fast with that, it takes 3000 minutes = 50 hours a month just to enter it. If you have to enter the customer data, you will probably need the same time for that. And I do not ask for typos. What is your value of 50 hours a month?
That is the point where our Q-Import product will help you. Practically all shopping carts have a function to export the transaction data to your PC in CSV or XML format.
Q-Import catches these data and imports those in a proper format into QuickBooks. It adds the customer and then creates a sales receipt. And there is only a small one-time effort to do that. You have to define a mapping between your shopping cart data and the QuickBooks data structure. We call that a template. A template is formed by a couple of mouse clicks. Then you can download your shopping cart data in regular intervals; start Q-Import and just do an import. You look through the resulting log file, if something strange may have happened and then you are ready. The process is shown in the picture below.
There additional tasks where Q-Import helps. Usually you issue checks drawn on you bank account. Most banks offer you the opportunity to download your statements as CSV file. Do the same as with the sales receipts. Define a template and reconcile the checks with Q-Import.
Here is a list of the most common items you can import into QuickBooks with Q-Import: Accounts, Bills, Charges, Checks, Credit Memos, Customers, Deposits, Employees, Estimates, Invoices, Items, Inventory, Journal, Payments, Purchase Orders, Sales Receipts, Time Tracking Information, Vendors.
In total there are more than 50 different items, you can import into QuickBooks.
Q - Email
The second product, Q-Email, increases the efficiency of your business. It is a simple, but price worthy software application. Its own purpose is to replace paper by email. It sends documents out of QuickBooks to your customers, vendors and other companies, persons or institutions. It goes beyond the possibilities QuickBooks offers you. It sends not only invoices, but estimates, credit memos, sales receipts, purchase orders, timesheets and statements also. You have total control over it, because it uses your email account for delivery. There is no third party server involved. The operation is quite simple. Select the type of documents you will email, choose the proper layout, maybe preview it and then send it.
There are several different business processes we support with Q-Email. You can send the documents as HTML as well as in PDF format. The data of the document may be attached as XML copy. You can send the same information i.e. to a fulfillment center for handling goods. There are several ways how the documents are handled as email. What are you saving: First it saves time; printing and handling an invoice, including envelope and postage, costs at least one minute per document. Not to forget the money for paper, ink and postage. For more information, we have a white paper with more practical information for you.
Q - Merchant
We support not only businesses with a strong Internet presence. If you have a real shop and accept credit cards, we also have a solution for you. Q-Merchant is an application to process credit card payments via Authorize.Net. As you may know, Intuit has its own payment scheme, which works out of QuickBooks. We offer you the opportunity to choose a different payment provider. Q-Merchant sits in the middle between QuickBooks and Authorize.Net. When a credit card payment is recorded in QuickBooks, our application pops up and supports the remaining process of credit card handling.
Also, if you do not work with QuickBooks yet, Q-Merchant is a Virtual Terminal for Authorize.Net. You can perform any transaction with Authorize.Net. Q-Merchant supports a magnetic stripe reader and prints payment receipts.
